...Almost gave me a heart attack.

My Big brother just bought the downloaded ISO file of the game >.<
Shit. He is such a game whore. Curses.

I mean, there I was, rushing my god damn assignments. Then he comes along, marching up the stairs, into my room, and literally (eh? not really) slapping his PSP right into my dumbstruck face XP

And Almost giving me a heart attack, he showed me the friggin' game.
Though I kept telling him not to get the downloaded one. But, as the ass that he really is, he did it anyway. *curses some more*. And as the idiot that he was, although I warned him that the English version wasn't released yet, he once again ignored me, and got the Japanese ver. anyway.

LAWL. I wanted to buy the UMD (the english ver. I mean), and I'm still going to :'D. But I don't have a cent on me right now XP. Sheeeaaash. I hate being broke XP And anyway, it's still on TBA, tho it might be expected this December, or even in early 2008.

Anyway, Hah. Like I said. We currently have the Japanese ver. of the game. So like, we hell of didn't know what was going on-- SO, we like printed this 29-page Walkthrough of the whole game XP
haha. Talk about shit. Though, it was an excellent walkthrough.

I think I'll just wait for the English version. Then I'll play the game.
Till then, I'll just watch my brothers play the game..while they Fail at it xD

I couldn't take the pressure...
There was no way my little brother's gonna finish the game...
...before me.
And after a few death threats and blackmailing...
He *ehem* I mean, I agreed to finish what he started :D

All in all he played about 60% of the game and I played the 40%.

We finished at exactly 4:49 pm Today.

With 15 hrs 37 min and 35 sec of Gameplay xDDD

Though the part where Zack died was totally different from the original FFVII..
and Cloud actually...cared
The ending totally got me though...
I cried..A LOT.

Beh.. For Sephy XP

Gameplay was sick. I totally LOVED it xDD
And the Battle system was brilliant!!! Specially the part when some woman's voice says "Activating Combat Mode" before the battle sequence..xD BRILLIANT xD and "Modulating Phase!!" "Power Surge!!" xD hah. And Don't forget "Conflict resolved". Hah. Her voice was so techy..

Anyway, I'll add my review on the game later..
...and maybe some more rants.

LOL. Here's my Review ( ...it's actually more of a critique-ish rant >:[ ) for FFVII: CC:

*NOTE: I shall make this as SPOILER-free as possible! :D

STORYLINE:
Ah, every aspect of any game would lead up to it's storyline. Wouldn't you agree?
Whether you get a boring battle system, damned gameplay, or crappy graphics. If what the mind-boggling stories have to show forces you to shed a tear or even giggle...then it's worth the play. And Like any FF game you see out there, you'll get a head-turning storyline. Crisis Core, in what other gaming fans would think as "just another sequel", isn't. It's the ROOT of every FFVII game you've played, or ever imagined to play. The story of Zack Fair, is not that of a happy ending, but it's also not as depressing to begin with. Though you'll get some useless, boring cutscenes now and then, most of which are just conversations, the whole thing about Zack just makes you love the game even more. And so does the FMVs xD

But the whole story doesn't just concern Zack does it? Nope, you'll also know more about Gackt *cough* I meant GENESIS, or in where Dirge of Cerberus left off, Project G. And also throughout the game you'll meet some (make that A LOT ;D) familiar faces and also some not-so familiar ones. Then the story becomes more interesting, leading up to character conflicts, unexpected events, and so on.

If there's a storyline, there would definitely be a LOVE STORY. Yes, my eager little friends, we shall all learn about Zack Fair's relationship with the very well-know Aerith Gainsborough! And what not? You may even see them as the cutest couple you've ever laid your pitiful little eyes on :D And who knows...this cute little love story may even make you cry at the end.

And what about the Final Fantasy VII heartthrob you say? What? CLOUD STRIFE? The person who until now, claims to be a 1st Class SOLDIER, But who really was just a LOWLY Shrinra Guard? Well, you'll meet him too. OH! you'll also get to meet Tifa Lockheart, and even get your picture taken with her (along with Sephy anyway >.>).

...well, if it was up to me, I'd say the storyline's quite beautiful, making it almost perfect.
(The down thing about it, was because of Sephy's obsession to his "real" mother...such an utter disturbance to us all, specially when someone keeps going "okasan" again and again in every friggin' sentence he spits out. ...and hell, what about Gackt *cough* I meant Genesis >.>, and his..er..problems, which unfortunately I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND, because everything was in JAPANESE >:[..lame man, lame. Heck. But anywayz)

GAMEPLAY:
What? Storyline didn't go the way you wanted it? HELL? The main protagonist DIED??! (<<NOTE: This is NOT a Spoiler) ...let's check out the 2nd important thing then :D
I wasn't too impressed with gameplay (LOL. Yes I was XP). So this won't take long.
Eck... Run. E-mail. Fight. Run. Cutscene. Run. E-mail. Talk. FMV. Talk. Run. Talk. Cutscene. Fight. E-mail. Fight. Run. Treasure Chest. Cutscene. E-mail. Run. Cutscene. Fight. Save Point. Run. Cutscene. Fight. Die. Load Game. Run. E-mail. Fight. Materia. Materia. Attack. Potion. Attack. Remedy. Ether. Materia. DMW. E-mail. Cutscene. E-mail. Cutscene. Cutscene. and MORE Cutscenes!

There's too much cutscenes (I liked some of the cutscenes though 8D), not enough puzzles (some puzzles make my head hurt....but I want more than what this game had offered..) And you'll even get a hefty amount of E-mails!!! (<<utterly annoying >:O)

LOL. But let's take look at it for a second..at least it ain't FFXII...right?
...speaking of which has TOO MUCH Puzzles..and not enough Cutscenes. ahh, sweet, sweet irony

But, at least you'll get to do battle missions...which is actually accessed on save points... and you'll what? Fight over more than 100 Shinra guards a round...what? 200 you say?

And the Boss fights??
They're a bit easier than the normal enemies...XP
(Reminds you of DoC..when fighting Omega as the last boss...eeaassyyy xD)

So anyway, aside from all the bad sides I've already stated...gameplay looks fine...really really fine O_o...

That means...I kinda love it xD (Hah. guess I was only over-exaggerating)

*there's actually more to the game...than what I've stated...though even if you choose the other difficulty..boss fights will still be easy..so relax. You can focus on finishing missions if you get bored...or some'n)

LIFESPAN:
Life? oh, life...>.>
Short, as usual.
It's just a sequel/prequel/whatever. Live with it.
Hah. Unlike FFXII (...yet again) Which would take anyone more than 100 hrs of gameplay *insertexclamationpointsss*...it's rather (RATHER? O_o) short..?
For at least 10-15 hrs of gameplay....it most definitely is...short xD

Almost forgot.. You'll also get a new game+..which would able you to finish all the missions...and everything else. Though I don't know how long it'll take since I've never started the new game+...I know, I'm such a lame-ass...

So since the 10-15 hrs thing was just for the first play..and before the new game+..
..So, it might take you a long time to finish everything..

(*Though the walkthrough said it would take you about..30-40 hrs of gameplay all in all...I'm not sure myself...)

BATTLE SYSTEM:
Haha. Something I could rant about >:D ...or not.
Ahh, though the battle system is different from the previous FF games I've played (meaning it doesn't include any screen transitions), unlike FFXII (Gawd, I love comparing this game with FFXII xD ...[why don't ever include DoC..??O_o]...)..I seriously loved it xD
The whole battle's on active combat, so you'll have to move...and you'll have to move fast.
And Aside from the system's easy accessed options, found at the lower right of the screen, If you check out the upper left...you'll see er...faces .LOL. it's actually a Modulation phase aka D.M.W...but better yet--
--Digital Mind Wave. Sounds good neh? I'ts actually one of the coolest additions to the game's battle system, and one of the most anticipated. And I totally dig it xD Though I won't tell you about it cause I'm too tiredslashLAZY, and I'm only doing this during free time so yeah. Go look it up on Google or something >.>

I'm just gonna conclude the battle system a thumbs up..it's definitely something to look forward to, if of course you'll ever consider purchasing this game *recommends* (<<I am such a dedicated Fan :D *sarcasm*)

GRAPHICS:
Checking PSP standards..pretty sweet.
Cutscenes looks good.
FMVs extreme.
Everything else, high-def.

You don't need my side of the case to know how cool it looks.

Final Review:
Scratch what I said about the storyline, EVERY story needs a problem, I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the negative emotional aspects of the game that much. Anyway, overall.. I'd say, it's a perfect game for RPG fans out there, playing throughout the game.. you'll find it smooth and not at all disappointing :'D

Storyline's beautiful, considering it's Zack's story...it's absolutely tear-jerking :'D
Gameplay is Above average. Perfect for those RPG gamers out there ;D
Lifespan is okay.
Graphics are Awesome @w@
Battle System and Music? ABSOLUTELY PERFECT xD
